Watch for debris in the water!
Beaver Lake level is 1129 at the time I am writing this report, and the rivers are very muddy, you will have to find the clearest water you can find if you want to catch stripes this week. Fish will still be using the "mud line" between muddy and clear water to corner bait. The corps is releasing water in order to keep up with the inflow. White bass run will be stalled on account of the run off but in a few days when the rivers settle down the run will continue. The water will clear upstream in a few days and you will be able to fish above the mudline.
Striper are being caught on free lines and balloons fished 15ft deep with most action on free lines.
Bait can still be found in the backs of coves looking for warm water springs flowing in. Striper are holding on main lake structure near any cove that is holding shad.
Stripers can also be taken with #9 rapala original's or Husky jerks and/or rogues 3-5inches long flat line trolled, use planer boards in order to spread your lines giving you the ability to fish more rods but also allowing you to cover shallow water near the bank as you troll. Move rapalas at a speed of about 2-2.5mph.
You can not mix different baits such as live and rapala in your trolling spread due to the different actions required for the proper presentation of each.
During the spawn run a lot of striper and hybrids are mistaken for white bass so....
Know your species and make sure you identify any fish you keep. There is no limit on white bass, there is a 3 fish limit on striper/hybrid and a 20 inch minimum length on striper. You may not keep more than 3 striper and hybrid in combination.

Fish location is greatly influenced by lake level and current flow, current in the lake from generation will generally position fish on upstream or down stream edges of structure. The corps is releasing water in order to stay ahead of run off.....check the daily lake level and flow data link on my web site.
Live shad as always on Beaver Lake when fishing for Trophy Stripers is the go to approach. Stripers are hitting shad in the 4-14 inch range. If you want a big fish try a shadzilla in the 10-14 inch range!
The following area's will be holding striper at different times during the day and areas near the mid to lower portion of the lake will be most productive.
On the mid and lower sections check out these area's. Water surface temps in the mid 60's.
Indian creek- free line the flats.
Lost bridge south- Free lines and ballons.
Lost bridge north-Free lines and balloons
Big Clifty arm- Some surface activity from stripes and whites etc.... fish flats with free lines.
Rocky Branch-try the larue cove and the area known as striper island near larue. Fords creek, Rambo creek arm and Van hollow are reasonably clear.
Copper mine-no fish
Upper section- water temps in the mid to high 60's.
Prairie creek-no fish
Coose Hollow-n/a
Ventris- n/a
Blackburn creek-Look in the back of Blackburn for large schools of shad and free line the cove for striper.
Beaver shores- n/a
Horseshoe bend- Check Escalapia hollow.
Montne- Look in the back of Montne for large schools of shad and free line the cove for striper. Check the mouth paying close attention to the flats.(point 11)
Hickory creek-Water very muddy and striper are shifting down lake.
War Eagle- River very muddy but when it settles you should be able to get a boat up to the mill and find white bass in the area as far up river as you can get your boat.
War eagle/White river junction- River is muddy but as it settles you will find white bass as far upstream as "twin bridges" at hwy45
Blue springs area-Very muddy.
Most walleye are about 5-10ft deep, fish are being taken off the points and on mid stream humps. Check upstream and down stream edges of humps and points.
Flat line troll over shallow bars with rapala tail dancers, shad raps, reef runners, or ripstiks in natural blue or black back combos.
Jigging spoons around brush and rock piles are also producing.
