BAILEY'S BEAVER LAKE GUIDE SERVICE(479)366-8664 Beaver Lake Striper fishing fair! You will have to check several spots through out the day as Beaver Lake striper make their transition up lake. The striper fishing will be good with numbers of fish taken on live shad fished on lightly weighted balloon lines trolled 50-100ft back and down riggers with rapala's 15-35ft deep.The stripers will be active most of the day with peaks around sunrise, sunset and during generation!

Fish location is greatly influenced by lake level and current flow, current in the lake from generation will generally position fish on upstream or down stream edges of structure...check the daily lake level and flow data link or the SWPA power generation link on my web site.
Live shad as always on Beaver Lake when fishing for Trophy Stripers is the go to approach. Stripers are hitting shad in the 4-14 inch range. If you want a big fish try a shadzilla in the 10-14 inch range!
You will have to cover water to find Beaver Lake Striper and you should check these area's, action will be hot once you find 'em! Try free linning and stay ahead of the curve, the fish will start hitting free linned baits regularly soon!
On the mid and lower sections check out these area's. Water surface temps in the high 60's.
Point 1- striper moving up lake...
Indian creek- striper moving up lake...
Lost bridge north-striper moving up lake...
Point 3- striper moving up lake...
Lost bridge south- Try the island at starky and the humps from the island to lost bridge south park.
Point 5- walleye on the flat between point 5 and 6!
Big Clifty arm-Great things happening here! There are large shad in the area near hog scauld and that means big striper are there also!
Rocky Branch- Some striper taken at point 6 and the small island infront of the water intake. White bass and walleye's being caught in the area's near the road bed that extends to the island, in the mouth of the marina and in larue cove. White bass are surfacing in this area!
Copper mine- a few walleye caught near the copper mine lodge. Watch for stripes in this area!
Upper section- Beaver Lake striper in the area!
Prairie creek- Walleye activity around the islands on the flats is picking up nicely! Huge amounts of shad and Beaver Lake Striper in this area! Watch for the gulls and get on the surfacing fish!
Coose Hollow- Be on the look out for stripers any day now!
Ventris- Be on the look out for stripers any day now!
Beaver shores- Be on the look out for stripers any day now!
Horseshoe bend- Walleye activity is picking up here on the island flats! White bass/hybrids and small stripers that were stocked in the river this year are surfacing in this area! Make sure you release small stripers and only keep 3 of legal length!

Most walleye are about 8-15ft deep, fish are being taken off the points The flat area's around the islands at Rocky Branch, Prairie creek and at points 6, 5, 3, and 1 have all been producing walleye.
Flat line troll with hot-n-tot's, rapala tail dancers, shad raps, reef runners, or ripstiks in natural blue or black back combos or chartreuse/orange and clown colors.
Jigging spoons around brush and rock piles are also producing.
Put your dipsy divers to work above the thermocline with a rapala in tow.
