Striper activity forecast for the week is:FAIR

POOR-FAIR-GOOD

BAILEY'S BEAVER LAKE GUIDE SERVICE(479)366-8664 Beaver lake striper are moving into tributaries and backs of long coves. Striper are currently found in the river/creek arms. They are feeding intermitently through out the day.Make sure you do not keep striper under 20 inches and not more than 3 striper or hybrid or combination, Walleye must be 18 inches long with a limit of 4! Beaver lake striper fishing will be FAIR with striper taken on live shad fished from 20-60ft deep also try trolling small umbrella rigs with white grubs, plugs on three way rigs like Rapala #14 husky jerk's in black back or purple back colors and Smithwick Rogues in similar colors in 5-6inch models. Bink pro scale 1oz jigging spoons in white, white with red throat, white many shad and silver many shad are still producing fish. Work the spoon through the school and hang on tight jigging spoons are also producing walleye! Dead sticking with flukes on 1/2oz-2oz(depending on depth) jig heads are also producing, try using white/chartruese combo's. To dead stick you rig your fluke on your jig head and lower it to a depth just above the stripers and just below the depth where bait is holding, sometimes this means right near the bottom. Once your lure is at the correct depth you just "dead stick" it. Hold it still and wait. Occassionally Striper want the lure suspended just above the depth where the bait is holding so don't be afraid to change it up till you get 'em figured out!

Know your species and make sure you identify any fish you keep. There is no limit on white bass, there is a 3 fish limit on striper/hybrid and a 20 inch minimum length on striper. You may not keep more than 3 striper and hybrid in combination.
