Striper activity forecast for the week is:GOOD

POOR-FAIR-GOOD

BAILEY'S BEAVER LAKE GUIDE SERVICE(479)366-8664 Beaver Lake Striper are in the creek arms and on the feed! Some Beaver Lake Striper are using gravel bars, points, humps, tree tops and cuts in the bank to corner bait. Fishing free lines and lightly weighted down lines will definetly get you some fish. There has been some topwater activity from striper and whitebass. Make sure you do not keep striper under 20 inches and not more than 3 striper or hybrid or combination, Walleye must be 18 inches long with a limit of 4! Beaver lake striper fishing will be GOOD with striper taken on live shad fished on free and down lines from the surface down to about 20 feet deep also try trolling small umbrella rigs with white grubs or chartrues for staind water, plugs like Rapala #14 husky jerk's in black back or purple back colors and Smithwick Rogues in similar colors in 5-6inch model on plane boards with snap weights to get some depth and stagger your presentation. Jerk baits like flukes, swim baits and jigs will also produce. Topwaters like redfins in 7", spooks, pencil poppers etc!!! Have 'em tied on and ready!!!
Know your species and make sure you identify any fish you keep. There is no limit on white bass, there is a 3 fish limit on striper/hybrid and a 20 inch minimum length on striper. You may not keep more than 3 striper and hybrid in combination.

Fish location is greatly influenced by lake level and current flow, current in the lake from generation will generally position fish on upstream or down stream edges of structure......check the daily lake level and flow data link on my web site.

Live shad as always on Beaver Lake when fishing for Trophy Stripers is the go to approach.

  WALLEYE

Walleye are making their way out of the main lake in numbers in fall migration mode but can be found scattered still around the lake and are on the feed. Walleye can be found from 10-30' deep depending on area's you fish.

Three way rigging Rapalas in natural colors for clear water or chartreuse/orange and clown colors in areas of stained water.

Try Rapala tail dancers, Bagley Rumble b's, flicker shad, bandit 300 series in colors that include orange and chartruese.

Try slow death rigs and spinner rigs on bottom bouncers in orange/chart.

Bink pro scale 1oz jigging spoons in white or white/chart combo and a variety of jigs are also producing walleye.
