Beaver Lake Striper Fishing Guide Report

BEAVER LAKE ARKANSAS STRIPER GUIDE FISHING REPORT

02/12/22

Striper activity forecast for the week is: Fair

Poor-Fair-Good

BAILEY’S BEAVER LAKE GUIDE SERVICE https://beaversafari.com/  (479)366-8664Beaver Lake Striped Bass are on the move and making their way into creek arms and backs of coves as the water temps start to dip toward seasonal lows.
Make sure you do not keep striper under 20 inches and not more than 3 striper or hybrid or combination, Walleye must be 18 inches long with a limit of 4! Beaver lake striper fishing will be GOOD with striper taken on live bait fished from the surface using free lines and down to the 30′ range using down lines. Also effective is trolling with plugs like Rapala #14 husky jerk’s in black back or purple back colors and Smithwick Rogues in similar colors in 5-6inch model on flat lines, downriggers, dipsy divers or with snap weights to spread out your presentation. Jerk baits like flukes, swim baits like power bait swim shad 3-5″ long and bucktail jigs with plastic tails will also produce. Use chartruese for stained water and white/blue combos for clear. Umbrellas are also effective right now.

Striped bass location is greatly influenced by lake level and current flow, current in the lake from generation loop will generally position fish on upstream or down stream edges of structure.

Live bait as always on Beaver Lake when fishing for Trophy Stripers is the go to approach.

On the mid and lower sections check out these area’s. Water surface temps in the mid 40's.
